AHURI grant success for CRAE researchers

CRAE Key Researchers Professor Steven Rowley and Associate Professor Rachel Ong have been awarded three Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) grants in the 2014 funding round.

Professor Steven Rowley will lead a project titled “Delivering the National Rental Affordability Scheme: process, place, potential.” This project includes research partners at London School of Economics, New York University and University of Sydney.

Associate Professor Rachel Ong who is also part of the above project, was also successful in securing two additional projects led by RMIT. The projects are titled “Making Connections: Housing, Productivity and Economic Development” led by internally renowned housing economist Duncan Maclennan from St Andrews University and “Australian Demographic Trends and their Implications for Housing Subsidies” which includes Professor Gavin Wood.
