Peer Review of Educational Practice

In June 2017, a new model of peer review of teaching at Curtin was launched. It is called Peer Review of Educational Practice (PREP).

The broader focus on educational practice, rather than solely on “teaching” is deliberate as it allows for the review of a wider spectrum of activities associated with higher education learning, teaching and assessment practices.

There are now two forms of peer review at Curtin:
Formative Peer Review: an informal developmental process
Summative Peer Review: a formal review of one’s educational practice
